ANAMNESI
performance
"Anamnesi" is inspired by an old theory belonging to Plato and consists in the longest lapse of memory a human being can experience: forgetfulness of the ancestral knowledge, also called the law of universe.
It is a state of awareness which has been forgotten at the moment of birth through the process of endless reincarnation. On the other hand, Plato describes the possibility of awakening from it, by reviving the ancestral spirit within the self. This unintentional consciousness can emerge only if there's a will to abandon the comfort zone and to face the unexpected. Only at this point life and death can be seen as small transitions of an endless process of growth and eternity can be perceived as the core of the present time.
Anamnesi explores the body language in a structured society and looks for moments of spontaneous composition. Anamnesi explores the discomfort with different states of contact and playfulness. It is a participatory experience.
The performance combines dance, live sound and fashion design aiming to reflect on notions of control, community and self power.

ANGLES
performance
an award-winning video artwork presented at the Breaking8 Art Festival at the CAVA Museum of Contemporary Art in Cagliari in 2018. Created in collaboration with videomaker Emma Irene Orlandi and accompanied by the evocative music of Luis Meja, the video serves as an intimate and powerful tribute to the artist's grandmother, who passed away just a few months earlier.
Through a refined fusion of choreography and video language, the work explores the alchemical transformation of love’s energy—an invisible flow that permeates everyday actions, such as the simple act of making pasta. Kneading dough becomes a ritual of transmission, where love takes shape in matter, transforming into nourishment, both physical and spiritual, for those who receive it.
A poetic and visceral exploration of the persistence of emotional energy, of memory embodied in gesture, and of the hidden sacredness within the most humble and profound actions of life.
